I. Functions

The warehouse/storage‑room environmental monitoring system is designed to collect data within a small area, primarily focusing on air quality, ambient temperature, and humidity. The system comprises a gateway equipped with a 10.1‑inch display, two LoRa/LoRaWAN‑compatible temperature and humidity sensors, one CO₂ sensor, one PM10/PM2.5 sensor, and two LoRa/LoRaWAN‑based water‑infiltration sensors. It continuously monitors and records various environmental parameters in the storage space. Environmental data are transmitted wirelessly via LoRa/LoRaWAN, as well as through RS485 and RJ45 interfaces, to the gateway. Upon receiving the data, the gateway displays it locally and stores it in its internal memory. The system offers the following features:

  1. Monitor the temperature and humidity of the testing warehouse and storage facilities, and store the data locally.

  2. Detect PM2.5 and PM10 levels in warehouses and storage facilities, and store the data locally.

  3. Monitor CO2 levels in warehouses and storage facilities, and store the data locally.

  4. Inspect the warehouse and its storage areas for leaks; if any leaks are detected, report them to the gateway, which will notify users through various alert methods.

  5. Check whether anyone has opened the warehouse or storage room.

The gateway supports Ethernet and 4G/5G networks, enabling data transmission to the cloud platform via protocols such as HTTP, MQTT, and CoAP.

2.3 Water Immersion Sensor

  1. Product Features

This product is a contact-type water‑infiltration sensor that detects the presence of liquid based on its electrical conductivity. When the sensor probe comes into contact with water, it triggers an alarm. It features a built-in 8000 mAh lithium‑ion battery and communicates via LoRa, LoRaWAN, or Cat‑1 networks.

2.4 Water-immersion rope sensor

  1. Product Features

The leak‑detection rope consists of high‑density polyethylene conductive wires. When liquid drips onto the sensing wire, a short circuit occurs, and the controller, by analyzing the wire’s resistance, detects the leak and triggers an alarm. If it is a location‑specific leak‑alarm device,

It can also precisely pinpoint the fault location, enabling rapid troubleshooting and localization. When water leakage is detected, it wirelessly transmits an alarm message to the platform.
