The laser ranging module adopts the TOF principle of infrared laser to detect the distance, and the user can modify the parameters according to the agreement, so that the module can realize the function of detecting whether there are people or not. The information that the module judges whether there is someone or not can be transmitted to the upper-level gateway through wired RS485, so that the user can intuitively check that the device detects whether there is someone or not.

1. Distance collection
The target distance is determined by the infrared laser TOF principle.
2. Existence judgment
The distance value collected in step 1 is compared with the set threshold value. If the distance is less than the threshold value and continuously exceeds the set number of times, it is considered to exist. If the distance is continuously greater than the threshold value and exceeds the set number of times continuously, it is judged that it does not exist.
3、Parameter setting
Support through the RS485 bus, use the private protocol and the MODBUS protocol to modify the parameters and obtain the current distance value.
